- Exterior vent cap cleaning and inspection
- Bird nest and pest removal from vents
- Dryer vent repair and replacement services
- Installation of new dryer vent systems
- Vent cap and transition duct replacement
- Emergency dryer vent services
- Commercial dryer vent cleaning and maintenance programs
Service Scope
Our services are limited to dryer vent systems and related components. We do not repair, service, or provide technical support for dryers themselves, which are the customer's appliances. Any dryer-related issues require an appliance repair technician.
Service Areas
Services are provided within our designated service area: Volusia and Flagler County, Florida. Service outside this area may be available upon request and subject to additional fees.
No Guarantee of Results
While we strive to provide excellent service, we cannot guarantee specific performance improvements or outcomes. Dryer performance depends on multiple factors, including the age, condition, and maintenance of the dryer itself, which are beyond our control.
3. SCHEDULING AND APPOINTMENTS

Appointment Confirmation
Upon booking, you will receive confirmation via your preferred contact method (email, text message, or phone call). This confirmation will include:

Appointment Windows
Appointments are typically scheduled within 2-hour time windows. We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled window, but we cannot guarantee exact arrival times due to variables including traffic, prior appointments, and unforeseen circumstances.
Customer Availability
An adult (18 years or older) must be present during the entire service appointment to:

- Authorize service to proceed
- Review findings and recommendations
- Sign service documentation
- Provide payment
If no authorized person is available, we reserve the right to reschedule the appointment and charge a no-show fee.
Changes by Company
We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to:

4. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY
Customer-Initiated Cancellations
24+ Hours Notice:
- Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled appointment: No fee
- Free rescheduling to another date and time
Less Than 24 Hours Notice:
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment: $25 late cancellation fee
- Rescheduling available with a late cancellation fee applied
No-Show Appointments:
- Failure to be present for a scheduled appointment without prior notification: $50 no-show fee
- Fee must be paid before rescheduling

Emergency Situations

If severe weather conditions make service unsafe or impossible:

5. PRICING AND PAYMENT TERMS
Service Pricing
Pricing for services varies based on multiple factors, including:

- Location of exterior vent (ground level, roof, etc.)
- Accessibility and difficulty
- Severity of blockage or buildup
- Additional services required
- Emergency or after-hours service requests
Price Estimates
Price estimates provided over the phone or online are approximate and subject to change based on actual conditions found at the service location. Final pricing will be confirmed before work begins.
Price Confirmation
Before beginning work, the technician will:

- Confirm the service scope
- Provide final pricing
- Obtain your authorization to proceed
You have the right to decline service if you do not agree with the final price. A service call fee of $50 may apply if you decline service after technician's arrival.
Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash
- Personal checks (with valid identification)
- Business checks
Payment Due
Payment is due in full upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Additional Charges
You agree to pay any additional charges discovered during service, including but not limited to:
- Repairs needed to damaged or non-compliant components
- Replacement parts (vent caps, transition ducts, etc.)
- Services beyond the original scope
- Travel fees for locations outside the standard service area
All additional charges will be discussed and approved before work is performed.
Disputed Charges
If you dispute any charges, you must notify us in writing within [X] days of service. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days. Undisputed portions of charges remain due and payable.
6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Property Access
You are responsible for providing:
- Safe and clear access to all work areas
- Access to the dryer location and the surrounding area
- Access to exterior vent location
- Access to the roof (if applicable) with safe access points
- Keys, gate codes, or other access methods as needed
Work Area Preparation
Before service, you must:
- Clear area around dryer (minimum 3-4 feet)
- Remove items from the top of the dryer
- Ensure dryer is cool (not used within 1 hour before service)
- Secure pets in a separate area away from work zones
- Remove valuable or fragile items from work areas
- Notify us of any special access requirements or obstacles
Utilities and Building Systems
You must ensure:
- Electrical power is available and safe
- Gas supply is accessible (for gas dryers)
- No building alterations that affect vent accessibility
- Water is available if needed for certain services
Disclosure of Information
You must inform us of:
- Any known hazards or safety concerns at the property
- Previous vent problems or repairs
- Presence of asbestos or other hazardous materials
- Any building code violations you are aware of
- Pets or animals on property
- Any special circumstances that may affect service
Pets
You are responsible for securing all pets during service. We reserve the right to reschedule if pets cannot be safely secured away from work areas.
Accuracy of Information
You represent and warrant that all information provided to us (address, contact information, property details, etc.) is accurate and complete.
7. SERVICE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS
What We Do Not Do
Our services do NOT include:
- Dryer repair or maintenance (internal dryer components)
- Appliance diagnosis or electrical work on dryers
- HVAC duct cleaning or furnace vent cleaning
- Structural repairs to buildings
- Removal or disposal of dryers
- Installation or replacement of dryers
- Cleaning of dryer interiors or drums
- Repair of dryer mechanical or electrical components
Limitations on Scope
We may decline or be unable to provide service in situations involving:
- Unsafe working conditions
- Hazardous materials (asbestos, mold, etc.)
- Vents that violate building codes beyond our scope to repair
- Properties with restricted access
- Vents in locations requiring special permits or equipment we don't possess
- Situations where property damage risk is unreasonably high
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if:
- Work area conditions are unsafe
- Customer is hostile, threatening, or abusive
- Property access is inadequate
- Payment history indicates risk of non-payment
- Illegal activity is suspected or observed
- We determine that service cannot be safely or effectively completed
9. WARRANTIES AND DISCLAIMERS
Service Warranty
We warrant that services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner consistent with industry standards. If you are not satisfied with our service, you must notify us within 2 days, and we will return to address your concerns at no additional charge.
Limited Warranty Duration
Our warranty on services is limited to 30 days from the date of service for the specific work performed. This warranty covers our workmanship only and does not cover:
- Normal accumulation of lint after service
- Problems caused by the dryer itself
- Issues arising from customer misuse or neglect
- Damage from events beyond our control
- Pre-existing conditions not addressed during service
Parts Warranty
Replacement parts (vent caps, transition ducts, etc.) are covered by manufacturer warranties. We will assist with warranty claims, but we are not responsible for manufacturer defects or warranty limitations.
Disclaimer of Other Warranties
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THESE TERMS, WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- Services will meet all your expectations or requirements
- Services will result in specific performance improvements
- Your dryer will operate at peak efficiency after service
- Future problems will not occur
- All fire risk has been eliminated
No Guarantee Against Future Problems
While professional vent cleaning significantly reduces fire risk and improves performance, we cannot guarantee:
- Prevention of all future fires
- Complete elimination of all fire risk
- That your dryer will never experience problems
- Specific improvements in energy efficiency
- Extended dryer lifespan
Dryer fires can occur from multiple causes beyond vent cleanliness, including dryer mechanical failure, electrical problems, and user error.
"As-Is" Condition Acceptance
You acknowledge that we are servicing existing vent systems and dryers in their current condition. We are not responsible for problems that existed before our service or for the general wear and aging of appliances and building components.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Maximum Liability Cap
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO OUR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Exclusion of Consequential Damages
WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Lost profits or revenue
- Loss of use of property or equipment
- Cost of substitute services
- Property damage beyond direct physical damage caused by our negligence
- Personal injury (subject to applicable law)
- Emotional distress
- Data loss or business interruption
Property Damage Limitations
While we carry liability insurance and take precautions to protect your property, we are only liable for direct physical damage to property caused by our negligence or willful misconduct. We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to dryers, vents, or property
- Damage caused by the age or condition of systems
- Consequential damage from service interruptions
- Damage from the necessary removal or adjustment of components
- Cosmetic damage (scratches, marks) that does not affect functionality
Notice and Mitigation
You must:
- Notify us of any damage or problems immediately
- Provide opportunity for inspection and repair
- Take reasonable steps to mitigate damages

Failure to promptly notify us may limit or bar recovery.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform or delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

- Equipment failures
- Pandemics or public health emergencies

10. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dryer Fighter, its owners, employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms and Conditions
- Your violation of any law or regulation
- Your negligence or willful misconduct
- Injuries to third parties occurring on your property during service (except those caused by our negligence)
- Property damage caused by your failure to disclose known hazards
- Your provision of false or misleading information
- Your interference with our performance of services
This indemnification obligation will survive termination of these Terms and Conditions.
11. INSURANCE AND LICENSING

Your Responsibility to Act
